THE Co-PARENTING CLASS

How parents get along affects their child(ren). Most parents don’t realize how true this is. Some parents think separating from the other parent will be a relief for their child(ren), as well as for them. Separating can help if the conflict subsides. However, the greatest conflict a child will ever likely endure is one that is about them, because they think they must choose. Choosing is excruciating.

Ultimately, they choose because limbo is unbearable. Choosing one non-offending parent over another non-offending parent does long-term harm, discussed in this class. The PaRC Foundation's CoParenting Class is a month long course comprised of four lectures hosted via Zoom. The lectures are hosted on the first four Sundays of each month, with the exception of December.

You can see the course structure/schedule in the Schedule section below. Our goal is to educate parents in conflict resolution skills, to help them separate with dignity, and to model mutual respect for their children. If there are valid issues, we can discuss and likely resolve them at Lesson Four, the last class. Ideally both parents attend (separately) on Zoom.
