This is not your ordinary parenting class! This is the Causal Theory. It is a life changing prerequisite for all other classes, except for co-parenting. This class explains The Causal Theory, which offers eight primary causes in childhood of adult outcomes.
How parents get along affects their child(ren). Most parents don’t know this. Some parents think separating from the other parent will be a relief for their child(ren), as well as for them. Separating can help if the conflict subsides. However, the greatest conflict a child will ever likely endure is one that is over them, because they think they must choose. Choosing is excruciating. Ultimately, they choose because limbo is unbearable. Choosing one non-offending parent over another non-offending parent does long-term harm.
This anger management course is preventive, and provides students with tools and strategies to keep their anger from escalating a conflict. The class is four weeks long, and consists of four lectures with Dr. Faye hosted through ZOOM. These lectures are two hours each.
Dr. Faye is a student of the origins of violent behavior, and she learned most of what she knows by studying the two ends of the spectrum, from our greatest leaders in humanity and the most terrifying people of all. She believes that people who become dangerous to another person, were once on the other end of the experience. They were terrified victims as babies and small children. What goes in must come out, and what doesn’t go in can’t come out.
Most of us don’t come from families with good relationship skills. However, living a life without good relationship skills means we will never be a good leader or role model for our children. Relationship skills and conflict resolution skills are essential for a mature adult. It is easier to heal a grown child from trauma than it is to teach them healthy relationship skills. For that reason, we have no timeline on how long it takes. Ideally, you stay until you get it, and you got it. Some people stay because it’s the best conversation in town. It is one of the most helpful things we do at PaRC for the lowest cost.
We don’t take insurance, but we are affordable. We offer Trauma Therapy and Insight Therapy. We also have a better version of Child Therapy, with you as the child’s healer and us as your coach, after you have taken the Parenting Class.
Also, we often hear that people heal from simply taking the parenting class or from attending the Discussion Group that is offered with The Class for two hours, twice monthly for two months.
HOME ECONOMY PRICE If you want to see Dr. Faye, you can see her on a budget of $100 to 150 per month by attending the four hours of Group Discussion until you have learned what you needed to learn to change your choices, and then you can graduate to RSW for $150 per month. If you want to do trauma work, we can offer it for free or for a low price with interns.
